The project aimed to design an innovative side table that seamlessly interacts with users without imposing any additional tasks on their daily routines. The objective was to create a functional piece of furniture that enhances the user experience in a non-intrusive way, blending effortlessly into everyday life. By focusing on intuitive design elements, the table offers value through passive interaction, all while maintaining the aesthetic and functional qualities of a traditional side table.

Our project began with in-depth user research, focusing on understanding the needs of households. This research involved visiting families across various metro cities, allowing us to gain valuable insights into how users adapt to existing products and their surrounding environments. Through this process, we gathered significant insights into user adaptations to existing products and their surrounding circumstances. After a thorough analysis of the data, we identified the precise actions required to address the identified needs.

Routine Scheduling: Users can Automate the smart sidetable to fit seamlessly into there daily life. Allowing the user to wake up to gentle lighting or to set the table to go into low-power mode when user is away.

Aroma Diffuser: The aroma diffuser brings soothing scents to your bedside, perfect for relaxation or sleep. Can be Programmed by user to operate at specific times or intervals, offering you a personalized aromatherapy.
